Subscribe to TeamConnect or TeamConnect AI through Microsoft Marketplace or the Microsoft Teams Store. The first 30 days are free.
02 · Approve access
Then assign licenses, open the app in Microsoft Teams, and approve the Microsoft consent prompts.
03 · Run the Health Check
Choose any countries, companies, offices, or departments, or your whole organization, and the check then scores the seven categories in under 10 minutes.
04 · Walk through the report
Finally, download the report, and go through the results with us to decide what to fix first.
After the check
A Health Check shows the gap. Keeping it closed is a different job.

Is the Health Check really free?
Yes, within the free 30-day trial. It runs inside TeamConnect or TeamConnect AI as the last step of setup, so there is nothing to buy before you see your report. The trial needs a Microsoft billing account, but nothing is charged during the 30 days. Even a small trial scores the full scope you choose in Microsoft Entra ID — only the people synced into the directory are limited by your licenses.
How long does it take?
Once access is in place, the check runs in under 10 minutes inside your Microsoft 365.
Does the check change anything in Microsoft Entra ID?
No. At this stage the sync runs one way, from Microsoft Entra ID into TeamConnect, which starts with no data of its own. Nothing is written to Microsoft Entra ID unless you later choose fields to sync back.
Which people data does the first sync read?
At minimum, each employee’s UPN, object ID, email, account status, first name, last name, and display name, copied into TeamConnect or its staging area inside your own Microsoft 365. Every other field follows the settings you accept from the check’s recommendations. The sync brings in as many people as your licenses cover, so size the trial to the part of the organization you want in the directory.
Is it the same as the TeamConnect Health Check?
No. The Microsoft Entra ID Health Check scores the people data in Microsoft Entra ID. The TeamConnect Health Check is a dashboard inside TeamConnect AI that scores the completeness of TeamConnect AI’s own employee, department, and office data. They measure different systems, so one can be complete while the other is not.
