What it is, and who it is for
What problem does TeamConnect AI solve?
Job title, department, manager, and office are HR data held in a system IT owns, and nothing breaks for IT when they go stale, so nothing keeps them current. TeamConnect AI therefore consolidates people data from your HR systems inside Microsoft 365, adds skills, certifications, languages, and work and project experience, and writes the fields you choose back to Microsoft Entra ID.
We already have Microsoft 365. Why do we need a directory?
Microsoft People, the Microsoft 365 user profile, and Org Explorer read Microsoft Entra ID, which holds identity data rather than organizational data. TeamConnect AI therefore adds what is not there: consolidated HR data across systems, matrix and functional reporting lines, skills, certifications, work and project experience, availability, and search across all of it.
What can people actually do in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Search colleagues by skill, certification, language, role, and location, ask the agent about work and project experience, then open a profile with the evidence behind each match, read the organization chart including functional lines, see availability and start a chat, call or meeting. Microsoft Teams carries the full card experience; Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 Copilot are supported with the response adapted to what each host can render.
Do agents appear in the directory too?
Yes. Agents from Microsoft Entra Agent ID appear as an Employees view beside your people, with their advertised capabilities, the manager, identity sponsor and technical owner behind them, and a usefulness rating from your own organization. TeamConnect AI reads agent metadata from its source and never edits it.
Is this only for large organizations?
No. The scale work comes from what very large tenants demand, but a 2,000-person company across six countries has the same problems as a 200,000-person one: time zones and languages, dotted-line reporting, availability nobody can see, and skills nobody can search. The install is still two global admin consents per app, either way.

What it takes to go live
How long does deployment take?
There is nothing to install, host, or patch. A single HRIS source is onboarded and tested in less than a working day using a pre-built connector template, so a twenty-source estate is planned in working days rather than quarters.
What exactly does an administrator approve?
Two consents per app. For TeamConnect AI, the first is the app itself, reading and writing your people data through Microsoft Graph. The second is Cubeet’s own API, which reads and writes the reference data behind subscriptions, skills, and similar lists. Both appear on the consent screen.
How do we launch without months of manual data entry?
The directory starts from what already exists: Microsoft Entra ID sync, CSV or Microsoft Excel import with field-level mapping, and API connectors. TeamConnect AI matches imported records to Microsoft Entra ID accounts, flags uncertain matches, and remembers confirmed ones, while HR can stage an import to approve before it publishes.
Can HR maintain people data without going through IT?
Yes, because the Employee Import Hub is HR-operated: manual or scheduled imports and exports, field-level mapping, and custom fields governed exactly like the default ones.

Where the data comes from
Which systems can TeamConnect AI connect to?
Connector templates cover HRIS, ITSM, and enterprise architecture tools. Connectors run on demand or on a schedule, inbound, outbound, or bidirectional, including SCIM, with cadence and time zone set by you. One connector serves one system, so twenty systems means twenty connectors even when several are the same type.
Can it combine several HR systems into one organization view?
Yes, without migrating any of them. Each HRIS stays its own system of record and TeamConnect AI consolidates them into the directory, which is how leadership gets one headcount, one department count, and one matrix view across countries and systems within days.
Do you support CSV import, API, and SCIM?
All three, and they are not an either/or. Not every HR system has usable APIs, and some skills databases have none, so file import and connectors are used side by side.
Does TeamConnect AI write back to Microsoft Entra ID?
Yes. Administrators choose which fields TeamConnect AI writes back, and the sync then runs manually or on a schedule at field level. Cubeet updates the data; it does not correct anyone’s mistake.

Where does our employee data live?
Your employee data lives in your Microsoft 365. The AI agent runs on Cubeet’s Microsoft Azure backend, built on the Microsoft Teams AI SDK, Microsoft Azure Bot Service, and Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, so prompts and answers pass through that backend. They are not used to train foundation models, and for your security review, we document which services are involved and what each one keeps.
Can we control who sees which employee field?
Yes, in Data Governance. Every field in every directory view carries a visibility rule and an edit rule, per view and per audience, and the agent, the export, and the import all read that same rule.
How do Agent Roles and Microsoft 365 security groups work together?
Every capability can be governed by Agent Roles, by Microsoft 365 security groups, or by both together, and you choose per capability. That is deliberate: organizations running Microsoft Entra Agent ID can govern by group alone and avoid maintaining people in two places. More than 50 Agent Roles ship with the product and you can define your own.
What does an Agent Role actually decide?
What the agent may answer, compare, disclose, rank and recommend for the authenticated user. The underlying access is the same for everyone; the role governs the answer, not the record.
What does the audit trail record?
Authorization decisions: who asked, which capability, when, with what scope, and whether it was served or denied. Cubeet deliberately never stores question and answer text, because an answer sitting in an audit trail would expose protected content to anyone holding admin rights.
What about Microsoft 365 Copilot?
TeamConnect AI is reachable from Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the same governance applies there too. The capability and its rules decide what may be answered for that user, whichever surface the question arrives from.

What is Organization Insights?
A reporting dashboard built from the same consolidated data: headcount and FTE, employees and contractors, structure, and what changed month over month, with exports to Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF, Microsoft Excel, and CSV. It deliberately holds no people cost data.
What is Subscription Analytics?
A cost and utilization view in IT Settings: monthly and annual cost, license utilization, and the cost of licenses nobody holds, across every platform and by department, cost center, office, business unit, region, job role, employee, or vendor, in your currency.
What is the Microsoft Entra ID Health Check?
A downloadable PDF report that scores the people data in Microsoft Entra ID across seven categories and names the issues it finds. It is separate from the TeamConnect Health Check, an in-app dashboard that scores the completeness of TeamConnect AI’s own data. The two measure different systems.

TeamJML AI questions: lifecycle, licenses, and evidence
What is TeamJML AI?
The employee IT lifecycle platform. Every joiner, mover, and leaver becomes a structured, approved request with named owners, so the service desk receives everything it needs.
How does it work together with TeamConnect AI?
TeamConnect AI supplies the organization: managers, departments, job roles, subscription mappings, security-group rules, and access bundles. On its own, TeamJML AI knows the Microsoft Entra ID user and its own access bundle, and nothing about the organization around that person.
Does every mover create IT work?
No. A mover changes IT work only when effective entitlements change. A consultant becoming a senior consultant with identical entitlements updates organizational information without generating a single license ticket.
What happens to licenses outside Microsoft 365?
Your service desk confirms them in the ticket, directly or through your ITSM integration, just as Microsoft 365, your ITSM, or your team confirms every other task. As a result, one lifecycle record covers every license rather than two different kinds of evidence.
Does disabling an account stop the license cost?
No. Blocking sign-in and revoking license assignments are separate steps. TeamJML AI records revocation when your IT team or connected ITSM system confirms completion. Released license capacity becomes a cash saving only when a purchasing or billing change reduces expenditure.

Buying, billing, and trials
Which products are there, and how do they relate?
Three: TeamConnect, the established app on Microsoft Marketplace; TeamConnect AI, the directory and AI platform; and TeamJML AI, the employee IT lifecycle platform. Support covers all three identically, and you can run TeamConnect for part of your workforce and TeamConnect AI for another.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, for 30 days. It does require a valid Microsoft billing account, although Microsoft does not charge anything during the trial period.
Are TeamConnect AI and TeamJML AI licensed separately?
Yes. A combined SKU is not technically possible in Microsoft Marketplace, so you license each product on its own, while both share the catalog.
Where do we buy, and how is it billed?
Through Microsoft Marketplace or the Microsoft Teams Store. Licensing and billing then run in your own Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Microsoft Azure subscription. The purchase runs under the Microsoft Standard Contract, with no Cubeet amendments and no separate contract to negotiate.
Can this count toward our Microsoft Azure commitment?
Eligible Marketplace purchases can count toward your Microsoft Azure consumption commitment, subject to your agreement and purchase route. Your Microsoft account team can confirm whether your purchase qualifies before you plan against it.

What support do we get?
Technical support for administrators across all three products, with a reply within 24 hours on business days. Requests go through the support page or by email, and we ask for your Microsoft 365 domain and the product so the right person picks it up.
Do you help with field mapping and connector setup?
Yes. Connector templates carry real default field mappings and sync directions, while you set the overwrite, field-ownership, and conflict rules with us rather than inheriting them from the template.
How large an environment can this run?
It is engineered for 500,000-user scale and available in 62 countries and 45+ languages, including matrix organization charts and the data quality controls that organizations of that size demand.
Is TeamConnect AI Microsoft 365 certified?
Microsoft Learn publishes the Microsoft 365 App Compliance publisher attestation, which covers how Cubeet handles data. TeamConnect AI and TeamJML AI are being taken through Microsoft 365 certification together with TeamConnect.
